Travel Nurses are busy saving the world. What if we empower Travel Nurses by making it easy to find their next job through Job Alerts and Notifications?

Never Miss a Job Again

Once Upon a Time...

(an Intro)

Travel Nurses are always looking for their next Contract or Per Diem role and use an app from their Healthcare Recruiter. They are busy saving lives and don’t have the time and energy to consistently refresh the job listings.

Enter Job Alerts and Notifications. They are customizable to the Travel Nurse’s preferences and will alert the nurses when new listings are posted. They are taken to a list specifically filtered to only their saved search. An experience curated just for them - nurses deserve it!

      • Causes stress towards the end of their contract

  • Nurses like short term contracts and control over their schedules

They have challenges?

Carrie and Penny’s main challenge is

  • taking time to finding the right role (they’re already busy either settling into their new facilities, quickly orienting themselves, managing their personal lives, etc)

  • finding a role that fits their requirements (pay, location, hospital, length, shift time)

How can we help?

With Carrie and Penny in Mind, here’s the solution!

  • quick access to alerts and easy to navigate (to save time)

  • alerts and notifications that let them know ASAP when their perfect role is in stock

  • ability to set preference and customize

How might we help Carrie and Penny find their next contract or per diem shift that fits their requirement without adding additional stress and time?

Solution 1: Quick Access and Easy to Navigate

Splitting Job Alerts and Notifications with Multiple Entry Points to Job Alerts = Allowing Quick Access

Notifications: Dashboard

Notifications is moved to the Dashboard/Home screen &

Notification Icon is a Bell

New Job Alert will be one type of notification Nurses will receive

Job Search Alerts can be turned off all at once from the Notifications Settings

Job Search Alerts now live in ‘Find Jobs’. Icon is changed to a briefcase

Job Alerts: Find Jobs

Once icon is selected, given list of active and inactive alerts

Once Alert is selected, taken to a list of jobs based on the alert

Solution 2: Adding New Job Alerts

Nurses will ‘Create Alert’ -> taken to this screen with types of filters to set

Banner/Toast will appear

Create Alert from Job Search Alert List

This Alert is also added to the list

Create New Alert from Filter List

When a nurse wants to filter their list, they have the option to create a job alert with the same settings

After toggling, nurses have ability to set the Alert Name and Frequency

Nurses can set their own Alert name

Nurses can customize how often they are notified

Old Flow

What was previously available for Carrie and Penny

Job Alerts lived on the Account Page - Difficult to Find

Notifications and Job Alerts were on the same screen = Redundant

Job Alerts and Notifications Icons = Too Similar/Confusing

Turn on all or none of the job alerts = Restricts which alerts are active, nurses might get alerts they don’t need but may want to save

Toggle to Activate/Inactive Search Alert
